It is a great honor for me to have this chance to be a volunteer in Liguang library. Things goes occasionally and unimaginable. It is hard to find a time to do volunteer for me at present, because of the nervous courses at school and time management.
About November, my mother said to me that I found a pretty good place for you to be a volunteer, do you want to try it? I felt very happy because I could know more about these kinds of experience and I would like to do this. In this way, my mother gave me some information and I began to prepare this.
It took me a long time to go to Sanmen and when I arrived at the library I got a huge surprise. It is much better than I expect and the people worked there are also nice. I think I can have a few brilliant days during the days I’d work. At the first glance of the library for me are a large amount of books and an area for people reading. I used to think that this is a library in a raggedness bungalow and the books are main aim at children. In fact, there are a lot of books that I never heard and known and most of them are centered on Chinese culture.
During these days, there are few people go to the library. Because the days are nearly Spring Festival and the winter camp is just finished. Therefore, I have a lot of free time to do what we want. On the one hand, I can spend a lot of time to read books there. On the other hand I also can know how Liren’s library working. Time goes quickly that 3 days passed in harry, at the last day staying in the library I got a notification.
My cousin and mother would give a presentation in this evening. I felt amazing when I heard this news and I was consider about are there any people can come. In these days, there are just have several people come here in the evening. Even though they begin to prepare for this and the amount of the people who go to listening is bigger than I expect. This presentation is better than I thought. Not only because there are more than 10 people to have a listening but also the content during the presentation is more interesting and usable.
All in all, I have a wonderful and enrich time during I worked in the library. During this work, I know a library work in general and try to do it myself. It improves myself and let me have a good experience in doing volunteer.
